TOOTH FİLLİNG

Tooth Filling is a method of regaining normal function and appearance to a tooth that has been damaged by caries. The gaps that bacteria can enter are filled with fillers to prevent the progression of caries.

The materials used in these applications, known as restorative dentistry, are gold, porcelain, composite and amalgam. In restorative dentistry, inlays, onlays and laminates are applied to the tooth according to the size and location of the caries.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

Cracks and fractures in teeth, caries occurring in the teeth, incorrect treatment processes, incorrect restoration cause the loss of vitality of nerves and vessels in the teeth. Cleaning, disinfecting and filling the infected nerves in the canals of the tooth and filling the canal with fillers is called root canal treatment.

When is root canal treatment necessary?

– Caries advanced to the nerves of the tooth,

-In cases where fractures occur  including the nerve of the tooth as a result of trauma,

-In order to eliminate the sensitivity caused by advanced wear on the teeth,

– It is necessary for the teeth that have faced chewing  trauma as a result of the high filling or prosthesis.
